ToodMode Anime was created during a time of rebuilding, a moment where strength had to be forged from nerdship. Anime, especially Maruto, played a huge role in that journey. The themes of resilience, courage, and rising after being knocked down became a source of Inspiration and helped shape the spirit behind the brand.

That spirit shows up in a small piece of Japanese writing you’ll sometimes see in our branding an Easter egg ,that represents where ToadMode came from and what it stands for. We only display it in Japanese and we never share the English translation publicly. It’s meant to be a quiet reminder, a symbol of the idea that even difficult beginnings can lead to something meaningful. As Jiraiya would say, it’s not about the pain itself — it’s about the strength that grows from it.
